The China Conference on Health Information Processing (CHIP), organized and conducted by the Medical Health and Bioinformatics Professional Committee of the Chinese Information Processing Society of China, is one of the most important academic conferences in the field of health information processing in China. The CHIP conference, focusing on interdisciplinary areas such as medical informatics, health informatics, and bioinformatics, brings together researchers and professionals from academia, industry, and government worldwide to share cutting-edge research, innovative ideas, and successful case studies. To date, the CHIP conference has been successfully held nine times. In 2024, the 10th China Conference on Health Information Processing will be held in Fuzhou, Fujian, from November 15 to November 17, 2024.

Since 2018, the conference has introduced evaluation tasks related to health information processing. CHIP 2018 released 2 evaluation tasks, CHIP 2019 released 3 evaluation tasks, CHIP 2020 released 6 evaluation tasks, CHIP 2021 released 3 evaluation tasks, CHIP 2022 released 5 evaluation tasks, and CHIP 2023 released 6 evaluation tasks.

CHIP 2024 will focus on the theme of "Large Models in the Medical Domain" and will continue to organize evaluation competitions. The aim is to provide researchers with a platform to test technologies, algorithms, and systems. The conference cordially invites scholars, research institutions, and enterprises in related fields to submit proposals for evaluation tasks. Organizers and winners of the evaluation competitions will be invited to write related papers and share their techniques, methods, and experiences at the conference.
