The 10th China Conference on Health Information Processing (CHIP 2024) is an annual conference organized by the Medical Health and Bioinformatics Professional Committee of the Chinese Information Processing Society (CIPS), focusing on technologies such as medical, health, and bioinformatics processing and data mining. It is one of the most important academic conferences in the field of health information processing in China. CHIP 2024 will focus on the theme of "Large Models in the Medical Domain" and will continue to organize evaluation competitions, aiming to provide researchers with a platform to test technologies, algorithms, and systems. The 2024 China Conference on Health Information Processing (official website link: http://www.cips-chip.org.cn/2024/) will be held in Fuzhou, Fujian, China, from November 15th to 17th, 2024.
Since 2018, the conference has introduced evaluation tasks related to health information processing. CHIP 2018 released 2 evaluation tasks, CHIP 2019 released 3 evaluation tasks, CHIP 2020 released 6 evaluation tasks, CHIP 2021 released 3 evaluation tasks, CHIP 2022 released 5 evaluation tasks, and CHIP 2023 released 6 evaluation tasks.
CHIP 2024 will focus on the theme of "Large Models in the Medical Domain" and will continue to organize evaluation competitions. The aim is to provide researchers with a platform to test technologies, algorithms, and systems. The conference cordially invites scholars, research institutions, and enterprises in related fields to submit proposals for evaluation tasks. Organizers and winners of the evaluation competitions will be invited to write related papers and share their techniques, methods, and experiences at the conference.

Please send the evaluation task proposals to the evaluation email address （chip_nlp_challenge@163.com） ,The proposal should comprehensively outline the task background, task objectives, and details regarding the origin and preprocessing of the task data. You can refer to the description pages of various tasks from CHIP2019 、 CHIP2020 、 CHIP2021 、 CHIP2022 and CHIP2023 on the official website for the evaluation proposal template and content. Kindly submit the proposal as a Word document.
Evaluation topic
The topics of evaluation tasks include (but are not limited to) information extraction, data analysis, knowledge discovery, data standardization, data privacy protection, medical quality assessment, medical decision support, medical large-scale model evaluation (considering the needs in China), etc.
